BENTONITE
Premium Bentonite
A highly absorbent, swelling clay engineered for superior binding, viscosity control, and sealing capabilities. Essential for drilling operations, foundries, and civil engineering.
Bentonite Overview
Bentonite is a highly versatile, absorbent aluminum phyllosilicate clay consisting primarily of the mineral montmorillonite. It is widely recognized for its unique ability to absorb large quantities of water, swelling to several times its original volume.
Our premium industrial Sodium Bentonite creates highly viscous and shear-thinning suspensions when mixed with water. This makes it an irreplaceable component in drilling muds, where it cools the cutting bit and lifts cuttings to the surface. Furthermore, its incredible binding strength makes it the premier choice for green sand molds in metal casting.
Beyond drilling and foundries, bentonite's low permeability makes it an exceptionally effective, eco-friendly sealant for civil engineering projects, groundwater protection, and iron ore pelletizing.

Industrial Applications
๐ข๏ธ Drilling Fluids (Mud)
Crucial for oil, gas, and water well drilling. It lubricates and cools cutting tools, suspends drill cuttings, and seals the borehole walls.
๐ฅ Foundry Sand Binder
Acts as a powerful bonding agent for molding sand in the production of iron, steel, and non-ferrous casting.
๐ง Civil Engineering & Sealing
Used in Geosynthetic Clay Liners (GCLs), diaphragm walls, and tunneling to create highly impermeable groundwater barriers.
โ๏ธ Iron Ore Pelletizing
Provides the necessary plasticity and dry strength to agglomerate iron ore fines into durable pellets for steel production.
