DUNE SAND
Premium Dune Sand
Naturally sorted by wind, our premium fine dune sand is free from organic impurities. It is the material of choice for high-quality plastering, fine rendering, and specialized construction projects.
Dune Sand Overview
Dune sand is an aeolian (wind-blown) sand characterized by its exceptionally fine and uniform particle size. Because it is naturally sorted over millennia in desert environments, the grains are typically rounded to sub-rounded, providing excellent workability.
Unlike river or crushed manufactured sand, our Dune Sand contains almost zero organic impurities and minimal clay or silt content. This purity makes it highly desirable for high-end construction applications where surface finish is critical.
It is predominantly used as a fine aggregate. When blended with cement, it creates exceptionally smooth plasters and renders. It is also utilized to optimize the grading curve in ready-mix concrete and asphalt formulations.
